Scanning through the videos this morning, I was reminded of what a great time I had at RailsConf. Planning is well underway for RailsConf 2008 (keep your eyes peeled for registration to open soon). An initial batch of proposals have been selected, and I’m already excited about the program this year.
The Rails community is maturing, and the level of proposed content has matured along with it. Expect more advanced content this year from a more experienced (obviously) group of practitioners.
Seeya there!

Any idea when the initial slate of sessions will be announced? I’m bouncing in my chair waiting to see all the topics!

Thanks, Chad. I missed Avi Bryant’s keynote (dinner ran long) and had been waiting for it to show up on the web. Unfortunately, I don’t see any slides in the videos. Are they available separately somewhere?

Hi, I’m stuck on a dial-up connection here in the sticks. Is there any way getting my wife to download these on the fast connection at work and bring them home or is this content stuck in an evil proprietary web-only format?

Finally!!! Great to have these videos. I’m looking forward to watching Ze Frank’s hilarious keynote again, although his slides are not available (or my google search abilities suck)... it would be much funnier with the slides.
